Wincro Spandrel posts, like parapet posts, are designed for use as ‘cantilevers’ and do not usually exceed 1.4 metres in height. They are designed to provide restraint to the outer cavity wall of a building, where penetrated by continuous areas of Curtain Walling or glazing.
The system comprises of vertical cantilever designed spandrel posts, fixed to the structural frame. Fixing to the posts, horizontal spandrel rails provides restraint at cill level and tie to the cavity wall.
Spandrel rails and connections are designed to suit specific circumstances.
