WEST is an innovative range of Door Furniture, new to the UK, designed and manufactured in Osaka, Japan from high grade Aluminium.
Drawing on the powerful influences of ancient shrines in Japan, where occasionally, you will see white Sand symbolically formed into a conical shape. This is known as a morizuna and is said to signify a landmark for the descent of a god, while the sand signifies the purification of the place. In other words, a morizuna is a symbol that expresses the spirit of hospitality when welcoming an important person.
Wishing to inherit this spirit of hospitality WEST has produced a range of products based on a conical form. No matter how the era and the environment might change, we wish to continue producing products that will welcome people with warmth and gentleness. That is the concept of the WEST brand.
