The MicrAtec Ti-Lock NS movement control joint has a neoprene rubber core with metal side plates. Designed to prevent cracking within floor finishes these joints are installed as part of the screed buildup using fixing pins. These joints can be as small as 8mm wide to be as minimalistic as possible to match other floor finishes.
The MicrAtec Ti-Lock VS movement control joint has a VAMAC rubber core which can be used in underground train stations as it has been tested and approved to London Underground Limited 1-085 'Fire Safety Performance of Materials' standards.
This joint provides good movement capacities suitable for large amounts of pedestrian traffic whilst also managing vehicular traffic loads. This joint follows the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliances across the entire movement cycle.
