16mm Solid Wrought Iron Pole with Ball Finials

Our wrought iron curtain poles & fittings are made from solid steel finished with wax to protect & enhance the natural colour of the steel. All fittings are handmade in our Devon forge by hot forging black mild steel. Our poles are recognisable for their fine quality finials, elegant scrolls, brackets with hammered back plates & hand twisted rings. Traditional artisan blacksmith products, perfect for period interiors supplied cut to length & ready to fit.We cut & finish each pole to your requirements. Just measure your window, add space either side to stack the curtains (usually 15 to 30cm), and check that you have space for the finials. (If space is tight please look at the Disc finial.) Finials other than the Disc include a sleeve that slides on to the end of the pole by 2.5cm. The measurement you supply is the measurement between the finials, so we add 5cm to allow for the pole that slides inside the finials. Poles over 240cm are supplied in 2 pieces with a spigot join (see images). 16mm poles are only supplied up to 300cm because they would need intermediate brackets for a longer span. Optional rings are 2 per 20cm of pole length selected (e.g. 12 for poles up to 120cm, 16 for poles up to 160cm). Additional rings can be ordered from the accessories collection.
