Materials are tested to BS 5867-1 2004: Textiles and textile products, curtains and drapes. These standards ensure the fabric adheres to requirements of colour fastness to light, colour fastness to washing, and dimensional stability to washing. We also insure that our ISX-FR fabric, used in commercial applications, is tested to UK standards of flame retardancy.

Fabric construction of InShade conservatory blinds is 100% polyester which produces a unique fabric that is long-lasting, hard-wearing and stretchy without the need to add elastane.

ISX was launched in 2014 and has undergone years of site trials and lab testing to ensure its exceptional ability to withstand UV degradation. Each and every new batch of fabric is tested to twice the required standard, and also inspected on a light table to check for blemishes. This meticulous testing process allows us to guarantee the best possible technical performance and to grant each sail a 5 year warranty.
