Brick Cladding - BrickShield

BrickShield is a new, insulated, external wall cladding system with a real brick finish.

The system consists of a unique Rockwool® insulation board that is bonded to the exterior face of a wall with BrickShield® Adhesive and then mechanically fixed with thermally broken BrickShield® Insulating Wall Anchors. The wall is then finished with BrickShield® Natural Clay Brick Slips from Ibstock, site bonded to the insulation with BrickShield® Adhesive and joints pointed with BrickShield® BrickPoint for a traditional brick appearance.

In the UK there are approximately 6.6 million dwellings; typically built before 1930 or of ‘system build’ from the 1950s and 60s which have solid Walls. These usually have little insulation and the walls may be in poor condition. BrickShield® has been developed for the renovation and thermal insulation of existing buildings, both domestic and commercial, but can also be used for new build.
