LAD - Lift Assist Damper for Counter Flaps

The LAD (Lift Assist Damper) is designed to help you lift a flap (typically found across a bar/desk in pubs and shops) and depending on the model may even hold it open at 95 degrees whilst you pass through.
Once through you can let the flap drop down, safe in the knowledge that as the arm connects with its bracket the soft-close kicks into effect and prevents the flap from slamming or cutting off fingers!
This products relies on calculating how much torque your flap produces to find the correct strength product(s) so the flap does not close too quickly or too slowly- more than one LAD may be used if your flap is heavy. If using more than one, please make sure they are both installed correctly to 'connect' at the same time, so that one unit isn't taking the full force too early.

All of the models have the option of with or without a stopper, and come in a variety of 3 strengths - please never mix the strengths!
