Stoneleaf SL11 Best Grade Natural Slates Chosen For New Development In Buckinghamshire

When Deanfield Homes were looking for a quality slate to use on their recent development of 14 high spec homes at the foot of the Chiltern Hills in Buckinghamshire, they chose the SL11 natural slate from Stoneleaf in the 500x250mm format. The combination of beautiful blue grey colour, texture, regularity and ease of laying due to excellent grading at the factory, coupled with a 75 year guarantee ensured they would get the look they wanted with assured quality within budget. The roofing works were completed by Bracknell based roofing contractor Myona Roofing Ltd.

Stoneleaf SL11 slates are regularly tested to BS EN 12326 Standard, achieving top ratings A1,T1, S1 for water absorption, thermal cycle and sulphur dioxide exposure, by the Celtest laboratory in Bangor, North Wales.

They are available in a range of sizes - 500x250mm, 500x300mm for low pitches, 610x305mm (a full 24x12 inches), as well as other Imperial sizes such as 22x11", 20x12" and even 24x14" which prove useful when carrying out repairs on old properties with Welsh slates on the roof.
