William Morris was a leading figure of the Arts and Crafts Movement in Britain and around the world. His designs are as popular today as they were during his lifetime. This ceiling draws on the floral design and patterns so often seen in his work.
The setting out of the William Morris ceiling shown on our drawing assumes dimensions of 4251mm X 3278mm.
However there is considerable flexibility built in to the design. The modules which make up the ceiling are dimensions 1093mm x 1063mm enabling us to adapt the ceiling to suit both larger and smaller spaces.
The ceiling is supplied with the pattern and the background as an integral unit enabling the ceiling to be installed in sections to Timber or metal fixing points with the joints to be filled in situ.
The enrichment to the ceiling comprises plant stems with leaf and flower enrichments combining to achieve a delightful and attractive effect.
The pattern is of relatively low relief and will suit any ceiling with a height of 3m and above.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Stevensons of Norwich is consulted before specifying.
