Fire resistant aluminium decking for balconies in apartments, flats and high-rise buildings. Suitable for applications over 18 metres in height. Manufactured using T6 aluminium, the metal decking is strong and durable.
The boards feature a patent-pending tongue-and-grove design, which ensures that they can be fitted quickly and easily, without the need for cutting. Each aluminium board also has a double skin with a grooved surface and uniform underside to prevent water dripping below the deck. The in-built grooves make the decking surface slip-resistant, improving overall safety and further cementing the decking as a particularly suitable choice for high-rise balconies and building applications.
With a 150 mm visible face, the fireproof decking board has an integrated gutter system, channelling water away from the structure to create a low-maintenance deck with a useable, dry space below. Simultaneously, this creates an integrated soffit detail. The grooved design offers a traditional plank-look surface that features the latest technology and can be installed rapidly – with no clips being required.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Specialised Panel Products Ltd is consulted before specifying.

Due to guidelines on fire rated decking products, if a coating is applied then a maximum rating of A2 is allowed. This is still non-combustible alideck. To achieve A1 ali deck, the product would have to be uncoated.
Where a non-combustible decking is required, A2 products meet current regulations. We would advise that you still speak with building control.
This is a variation in terminology. Although our decking is fire resistant ali decking, it has a rating of A2 and is also known as fire rated alideck.
All three names are variations of the same product and are shorthand terms used within the industry for an aluminium decking system.
Aluminium decking is a metal decking. Some products on the market use different metals - we use aluminium due to the performance of the product and its lightweight properties.
Yes - we offer a full range of A2 aluminium joists and A2 pedestals to support your decking.
