Our range of Industrial Safety Gates is ideal for protecting access and egress on rooftops and in industrial environments. Each safety gate is spring loaded so it automatically closes behind the user. This overcomes the potential for human error that is often associated with traditional forms of protection such as Chains or bars where incorrect usage can lead to the creation of a hazardous void.
Available in single, double gate and full size gate options, KEE GATE range has been independently tested to ensure the gates comply with international standards such as EN ISO 14122 Part 3.
The range has also successfully passed a series of performance tests to ensure total reliability of the gates. These included salt spray testing to ASTM B117-11 Neutral solutions over 200 hours to assess the coating s corrosion resistance, life cycle testing to BS 6375-2:2009 Clause 6.5 Opening and closing of Gate through 90 degrees 50,000 cycles and Abuse Testing where 9 x 25kg weights were suspended from the gate to test what happens if pressure is applied.
The Kee Gate range of Self Closing Safety Gates has been designed for ease of installation and can be retro-fitted to existing structures where reliable protection is required.
The single Kee Gate is compliant to EN 14122-3 : 2016 and is supplied as a standard 1m width which can be easily cut to size when required.
The double Kee Gate is designed for openings greater than 1m wide and can accommodate a maximum width of 1.8m. The double gate has been designed so that it does not require any locking mechanism. Both gates are self closing and form a compliant barrier when passed through.
Designed to comply with EN 14211: Specification for permanently Fixed Ladders, the full size range of Safety Gates are 1100mm high and include an Aluminium toe board for added protection. The gate is fully adjustable and can accommodate openings up to 1m.

All Kee Gate Self Closing Gates are available as galvanised or colour coated in safety yellow and are ideal for protecting access and egress via ladders and roof hatches for use with edge protection and walkways as well as for industrial applications such as around electrical equipment or as part of a demarcated area in a warehouse.
