SA Solutions’ seamless abutment drywall range offers numerous flash gap details, ranging from 5mm to 12mm, within its head detail. When finished, through the use of SA Seamless abutment technology, the resulting detail is neater and without the presence of remedial.
Remedial and gather is generally associated, and wrongly accepted with, traditional flash gap extrusions that are commonly available in today’s market. SA’s unique, patented innovation eliminates such error, whilst also eliminating air paths and leakage as a result of its seamless finish. This obviously has a beneficial impact upon acoustic performance and fire rating of the finished wall.
Fire rated flash gap detailing was not previously possible before the introduction of SA’s seamless abutment detailing.
