Tinted or coloured glasses can be produced to alter the amount of infrared, visible light and ultraviolet (UV) radiation travelling through the panel, this is achieved by the introduction of colours into the glass or alternatively high performing interlayers like Vanceva which offer a vast range of colours
Tints can be included on laminates, curves, toughened, printed panels/units and are primarily used with the architectural, transport and rail market place. Tinted Glass is ideal for the reduction of glare particularly in windscreens but also for side and rear glass in vehicles. Tinted glass also increases privacy levels and is often used by our vehicle armourer partners for armoured land cruisers.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Romag is consulted before specifying.
