Quad Table on Castors, Plywood HPL Top

In a modern office there is sometimes the need to rearrange the furniture or layout occassionally or even daily. There can be lots of reasons for this such as flexible staff working and varying uses for the room itself. Perhaps the room is a communal breakout area in the daytime and a seminar events room in the evening.

A neat way to create versatility is to have some or all of the furniture on Castors. Our Quad meeting table presented here with a high quality birch plywood high pressure laminate top (HPL) has a locking feature on the wheels. This enables easy movement but then be fixed in position. The action is simple - the mechanism is foot operated and is easily switched on or off.

Top

Many colours are available from manufacturers such as Formica. Shown on this page are mint green, light blue, black and white. The edge is clear lacquered birch plywood. The combination of solid colour on the top surface and a hint of wood at the edge is an agreeable combination, being both contemporary in style and practical to keep clean. This model is also available in wood.

Materials

The structure is made of heavy duty welded and bolted Steel sections. This gives a great combination of strength and ease of delivery and installation.

The top is 24mm thick plus the HPL surface. The combination results in a durable, low-maintenance worktop. As mentioned above numerous colours and textures are available - please ask. In additon we can supply metals and other decorative treatments.
