This was a rather rare project in that I actually made time to design a piece for my own home! We wanted a large, low coffee table for the family living room and I liked the idea of trying to use several different species of Timber to reflect what you might find in a British broadleaf woodland.
I also took the opportunity to experiment with joining curved sections of wood together to create a pattern in the table surface. It wasn t without it s technical difficulties but I am very pleased with the result and it is always a talking point with guests.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Real Wood Studios is consulted before specifying.
