Overhead Anti-Tip Mechanism

Mobile Shelving systems with a height to width ratio greater than 7.5:1 are deemed to be unstable and require an overhead anti-tip mechanism i.e. on systems that have narrow depth shelving and tall uprights.The overhead mechanism is supported by connecting to the top shelves of static units or to a wall surface. The mechanism is then linked from supporting static/wall to all other mobile/static units until it is fixed again to a static or wall position at the other end of the shelving run.
