FOUNDATION BLOCKS provide an efficient, simple and cost effective method of foundation construction below dpc where faster laying rates can be reduced with reduced labour and mortar costs compared with traditional foundation construction. The Stranlite FOUNDATION BLOCK is a lightweight aggregate loadbearing block manufactured from selected aggregates including graded Furnace Bottom Ash and Pulverised Fuel Ash and a Single block has a unit weight of well below 20kg and complies with The Construction (Design & Management) regulations for single unit repetitive lifting. AGLITE FOUNDATION14 is a lightweight aggregate loadbearing block manufactured from selected aggregates including graded Furnace Bottom Ash, Pulverised Fuel Ash and Plasmor's own man-made expanded clay making this block the sustainable choice. It has a single block weight of only 14kg so savings can be made due to faster laying rates and they are safer too due to less risk of repetitive lifting injury below knee level.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Plasmor is consulted before specifying.
