Benefits:
Bridging moulds are manufactured with a wider than normal flange (122mm), allowing greater flexibility for rooflight replacement, and applications where the upstand kerb is preformed, thus affording greater tolerance of fit - without the need for an adapter kerb.
Manufacture:
Thermoformed from 3mm thick polycarbonate sheet, and available as single, twin or triple skin units, built to the same exacting standards as the standard rooflight range.
Sizes Explained:
The standard rooflight eg. NL306 @ 900 x 900, would have a clear light size of 750 x 750 (150mm less than overall size).
The bridging mould @900 x 900, will have a clear light size of 600 x 600 (300mm less than overall size) due to the enlarged flange. Bridging mould @ 900 x 900 will therefore suit preformed upstand kerbs with opening between 600 & 750, depending on the flange size of existing kerb, see example above.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that NuLite is consulted before specifying.
