Novia 1000G Vapour Control Layer

Novia 1000 Vapour Control Layer is a medium specification, blown polythene material, suitable for use as a vapour control layer within the Walls of Timber frame constructions, or where the control of the passage of water vapour is required.Sitting between the 500G and 1200G membranes with regards to thickness and quality, the 1000G Polythene remains fully CE Approved as a vapour control layer.This product also performs the additional task of an air-leakage barrier, to prevent losses due to unwanted convection flows. We also advise the use of Novia double sided butyl tape and metallised BOPP tapes to ensure a complete vapour seal is maintained throughout the entire life of the product.Novia 1000 VCL should be used in combination with Novia Breather Membranes to provide an air-tight and vapour resistant system. This membrane is fully CPR compliant and is CE Approved to EN 13984:2013.Novia 1000 VCL is available on NBS Create and NBS Plus software packages.
