Silestone Chrome is a quartz stone with a mid-grey base and a array of speckled metal inserts scattered throughout its surface offering a distinctive metallic look in any space in which it is displayed.Chrome belongs to the Platinum Series of Silestone, launched in 2009 with an advertising campaign leaded by the Spanish Formula One racing driver and a double World Champion Fernando Alonso.
The Platinum Series is a metallic-looking range of five colours, created by curing the quartz compound at a higher temperature than that of standard Silestone quartz colours.
Silestone Chrome contains approximately 95% pure natural quartz, mixed with a unique patented technology that results in a non-porous, anti-bacterial surface that is both strong yet flexible and highly resistance to staining and scratches making it ideal for areas that demand long lasting and durable materials.
