Negro Marquina marble comprised a noticeable black backdrop with a soft texture and distinctive (and sometimes, abundant) white veins, making it ideal for flooring, walls, kitchen worktops, vanity tops, washbasins, fireplace surrounds, reception desks, among others. Originally found in 1964 in the region of Markina, Basque Country in the North of Spain, in Zapola Mount very close to Bilbao and San Sebasti n, this is one of the most famous marbles in the world. It is one of the most popular marble types, used for all kinds of civil construction projects due to its durability and naturally non-toxic properties for projects that require a beautiful stone with thrilling looks and effects at affordable prices. The stone is available in various type of finishes including polished, honed amongst others.
