Copper Dune quartzite This is a stone that is usually applied on internal walls as well as kitchen worktops. Its aspect resembles a dune hence its name. The material has a beatiful pattern in shades of browns, copper and beige tones which are characteristic of this unique natural stone.
Copper Dune quartzite is an ideal material for areas that require a tough product, with an abrasion resistance of 7 in the Moh s Scale which is within the range found in most quartzite and granite types. It is also suitable for both interior and exterior applications including worktop, cladding, flooring and facade as it has minimal liquid absorption and tensile strength.
Copper Dune is classified as a quartzite in Europe and as a granite in the USA and China which may lead to different commercial names. The material has a medium to high degree of variation in terms of pattern and is always recommended to have the slabs selected prior to fabrication.
Copper Dune quartzite comes in slabs ranging in sizes and with standard thicknesses of 20mm and 30mm which will suit most type of applications.
