Vario Wall Mounted Height-Adjustable Change Couch

by Multicare Medical Ltd

The Vario is a wall-mounted, height-adjustable changing couch designed for dry hygiene areas where a shower is not required. Its compact folding design makes it suitable for rooms with limited space, while the padded lying surface and folding safety rails provide comfort and reassurance for the user during changing or personal care tasks.

With an adjustable working height from 300 mm to 1000 mm, the Vario changing table supports safe manual handling practice by allowing caregivers to set an appropriate and ergonomic height. When not in use, the couch bed folds neatly against the wall to a depth of 250 mm, maximising usable floor space in smaller hygiene rooms, SEND settings, schools, and care environments.

Available in multiple lengths to suit different user sizes (1200–1900 mm), the Vario offers flexibility for a wide range of applications. Its modern, easy-clean white and grey finish blends into most environments and supports infection control requirements.

The couch has a Safe Working Load of 200 kg, and must be fixed to a suitable load-bearing wall capable of supporting both static and dynamic loads during use.
