A Permian Triassic Sandstone extracted from a quarry located near Penrith in Cumbria, quarry records date from 1878. Extensive reserves are readily available. Lazonby is a medium grained sandstone which has a consistent salmon red colour, enhanced by the sparkle of quartz grains.
Suitable for traditional masonry and walling styles through to cladding and architectural masonry. This popular red sandstone is widely specified on a range of construction projects throughout the UK.
