In ancient times the most luxurious finish for those expressing their status was a bespoke, hand made mosaic floor or wall. There is nothing stopping us in the 21st Century from expressing high end spaces for private or business uses with exactly the same natural finishes using naturally coloured Stone from the same quarries used long ago by Ancient Rome. Now we can add to this mosaic finish our modern stain Sealers and even digital technology to assist in the design process. Consider for your client a contemporary image but in a pixellated stone using approx 5-8mm tessarae.
