The thermally broken aluminium frame reduces the risk of condensation and we recommend purchasing the optional battery back-up that enables continued opening or closing during a power cut. The external key-switch means the electric roof window can be closed if required while people are on the roof, but opened again from outside. Non-standard sizes are available up to approximately 2 SqM (subject to width/length ratio) and come in a range of glass options include blue, grey or neutral solar control. If the height above floor level exceeds 5M, please contact our Technical Department as glass specification likely will need to be upgraded inorder to comply with Building Regulations.
