Ysgol Y Graig

Langley Design worked with Kier on this £7 million Ysgol Y Graig rebuild project in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. The new school will replace the existing ageing building with a two-storey state-of-the-art structure on the former Vaynor & Penderyn School site. We manufactured and installed timber canopies with clear non-fragile roofing which run adjacent to the school’s classrooms. Our timber canopies are often chosen on education projects as not only are they aesthetically pleasing but they are multi-purpose and can be used for outdoor teaching, external dining, socialising or simply a sheltered area for pupils to congregate in adverse weather conditions.
