Worcester 6 Business Park

Langley Design embrace all challenges and when we were tasked with providing some external enclosures for Benniman we jumped at the chance to produce something bespoke for the Worcester 6 Business Park project. Screening such as Bin Stores are designed to remove unsightly, overflowing litter areas and the added benefit of having made to order units is that you can customise the appearance of these. You’ll notice on the images we added our own insect hotels to help improve the biodiversity aspect. To further enhance this we also supplied a sedum roof on top of the Gas Meter Enclosure. The Bin Store was manufactured out of Douglas Fir, the lighter timber stands out beautifully against the industrial backdrop which creates a soft aesthetic. The design wanted to mirror the bin store on the condenser/gas enclosure, so we cladded the blockwork in the same style as the condenser enclosure. The client wanted to make use of the external spaces so we also manufactured some picnic tables for the site, we also produced some tables at a larger length to enable wheel chair users of socialising and dining externally with their colleagues.
