Westmead Activity Centre, Chippenham

Langley Design worked with Rigg Construction on the new £2.7 million Westmead Activity Centre in Chippenham which provides a new climbing centre, a skate park and indoor and outdoor café areas. Our extensive experience with manufacturing street furniture products and our flexible approach to each project enabled us to offer a bespoke Sheldon cycle shelter with an apex roof and timber clad ends to provide that extra protection against adverse weather conditions. In keeping with the outdoor café, we also installed a timber canopy which spans across the terraced space and provides a sheltered area for the visitors without compromising on the light. To complete the external works, we provided pre-cast concrete benching which is known to be perfect for its durability and to complement the newly landscaped environment.
