Merchants & Venturers Academy

Merchants & Venturers Academy is a newly built £13.2 million primary and secondary school in Bristol. The primary school has a bright colour scheme to stimulate curiosity and inquiring minds, while the special school is decorated in more muted colours to meet the children’s needs. Langley Design manufactured and installed a variety of our range of street furniture products. Our galvanised steel cycle shelters were produced in a range of different bay sizes to accommodate the different requirements around the site, children’s bikes and scooters are covered as well as cycle parking for the staff. Being a bespoke manufacturer we were able to produce curved benches to stand out against the playgrounds coloured areas. The same Sheldon range of benches were utilised to provide straight timber benches across the School. Other items included plastic litter bins, timber bollards and galvanised steel door barriers which were manufactured at 450mm wide as opposed to the usual 760mm.
