East Slope Residences, University of Sussex

Langley Design were delighted to be chosen by Balfour Beatty to provide all of the street furniture products for the East Slope Residences at The University of Sussex. As the UK leading manufacturer of secure timber cycle parking for the Higher Education sector, we were tasked with providing various units across the site. Each unit was designed to house Two Tier racks underneath. This allowed the client to double the amount of cycle parking on the site without doubling the footprints of the cycle shelters. These racks are becoming increasingly popular as an affordable space saving solution. 

Langley Designs more traditional street furniture range has been used for many years across the education sector and East Slope was no different! We were also asked to provide a whole suite of products here. This included the bollards and door barriers. We also manufactured and installed our Langley picnic table sets and matching benches which can be used for both dining and outdoor learning. The addition of our Pewsham table tennis table means the students can also enjoy a well-deserved break from their studies!
