Darwin Green, Cambridge

Just one and a half miles outside of Cambridge city centre, Darwin Green is a new modern housing development aimed towards couples and working professionals and is thought to be the best value new-build apartments available in Cambridge. Barratt David Wilson Homes approached Langley Design to put forward a package of external furniture to furnish the outdoor courtyard with products that were designed to complement the newly created landscaped areas. Our bespoke manufacturing capabilities allowed us to provide a range of seating manufactured from Treated Redwood with powder-coated steel to suit the aesthetics of this development, along with our solid timber benches which offer a fantastic contrast against the ruggedness of steel whilst providing social areas for the new residents. We were also responsible for the design, manufacture and installation of a number of bins and cycle hoops throughout the project.
