Bath Lane, Leicester

05-04-2022

Bath Lane is a mixture of 462 student accommodation rooms and 184 rental apartments at Leicester’s waterside regeneration development scheme. Langley Design were approached by Watkin Jones to provide external street furniture for this £35.6m project. Using our bespoke manufacturing capabilities, we worked with Watkin Jones to create a custom timber bench design with powder-coated steel that both matched the projects design requirements and met their budgets. We also manufactured and installed a steel-framed cycle shelter with timber cladding and a number of cycle hoops; all powder coated the same colour to match the benches and coincide with the surrounding buildings. The 2 tier racks provided were chosen as a space-saving efficient option to house as many cycles as possible in tighter external spaces.
