Bastille Pre-finished (Walnut)

These doors suit modern properties, where a high quality of finish is required. Constructed by using a computer controlled cutter to groove directly into a solid core, creating a large centre panel, the grooves are then filled by hand using solid strips of Walnut hardwood. This core is then sanded flat and directional veneers are carefully applied by hand and bonded using heat and intense pressure. A further process places the door onto a CNC table where a V shaped cutter makes decorative grooves into the solid wood inserts. Finally the door is given three coats of our low sheen lacquer finish.
