Kent Pedestrian Heelmesh Channel Grating

Kent Pedstrian Heel Mesh Grating (KPHMG150) has 8mm x 44mm openings and either 2mm or 3mm load bearing bars depending on the loading required and the free
span of the channel. It is perfect for areas with a propensity for High Heel Traffic Streetscapes,
Railway Stations, Airports,
Public Plaza. It is often also used internally on Drainage Channels in Lesiure Centres or Public Areas.
It is a low cost alternative to stainless steel wedgewire grating
Finish is Electropolished as standard for extra hygiene and corrosion resistance. Can alternatively be supplied with a Bead Blasted (higher
SRV) or Satin Finished top.
Typical sizes are 123mm wide x 990mm for Kent Precinct Channel but covers can be made 150mm/200mm wide on KAF Angle Frame, or to suit any Gully covers
- typically the KV215 and KV315 Gullies

This Mesh is often used also as an Air Vent Cover eg in an office block or on a connecting bridge at an airport or railway station. It is regularly
called for in these applications with cut-outs for LED uplighters. Often depth is reduced to 20mm for Edge Air Vent Covers as these have
little or no traffic overhead.
