Dubline Wayfinding Monolith

by Kent Stainless

The Kent Dubline Wayfinding Monolith, KDWFM/2600, is constructed from grade 316L stainless steel with 10mm toughened glass panels covering a reverse mounted poster. The monoliths were designed and manufactured for the Dubline Project in Dublin City Centre which was funded by Dublin City Council. The Monolith comes with a Bright Peened finish as standard. This finish gives the main body outstanding corrosion resistance and requires low maintenance. The logos are shot peened through a mask/template giving the utmost durability.
The Kent 2 Stage installation process allows the paved area be completed with a temporary base-box. The monolith panel is stored and protected elsewhere until site is due for completion and is simply mechanically fixed to the base box.
Dublin City Council also requested that Kent Stainless make provisions in future designs for the innovative iBeacon feature.
