Luxury architect-designed lever handle
This lever handle, with its leather cover, is one of a series that leading Finnish architect Juhani Pallasmaa designed for the Venice Biennale in 1991. He was particularly influenced to use leather by the fact that Alvar Aalto had done so. The handle shows his interest in the tactile properties of architecture, and his belief that handles represent the handshake of a building. Never before put into production, these handles are now available to order by iz customers.
Pallasmaa s prototypes are all in bronze, but the handles are now available in the full range of iz materials.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that ize is consulted before specifying.
