The Perfect Entry-Level Model

Hendy Group, one of the largest car dealerships in the South, needed Entrance Matting for new showrooms in their network. They wanted hard-wearing, cost-effective and highly absorbent Entrance Matting to prevent water getting onto the tiled showroom floors - perfect for driving cars around easily, but hazardous in wet conditions. 

Our sister company AXIS House has worked with Hendy for several years now, providing interior design and fit-out services. They chose INTRAlink² recycled PVC interlocking tiles to meet Hendy's cost, performance and sustainable requirements (as well as complementing Hendy's interior design principles).

Interior Detailing and Optional Extras

The INTRAlink² tiles complement the rectangular design elements found throughout Hendy's modern showrooms - glazing, light fixtures and furniture details. From the 20 different combinations of colour and fibres, Hendy specified Elite Anthracite 607 fibres. The dark grey colour complements the brand palette and design fixtures across the dealership network. Plus, it's a practical fibre colour for hiding wet and dirty patches between cleans. 

At Bournemouth, Hendy used INTRAform Low Profile with rubber inserts outside (zone 1) to remove dirt and debris like gritting salt. And INTRAlink² then welcomes visitors internally (zone 2). 

Performance as Standard

INTRAlink² has a high fibre coverage to provide excellent moisture absorption, while the 100% recycled construction meet Hendy's environmental requirements. Thanks to the interlocking tiles, each one can be removed and replaced if needed. And the tiles are fully recyclable so can have a second, third or fourth life following circular economy principles. 

The modular 250mm² tiles with 112mm² fibre sections are ideal for multi-directional traffic and the subtle, black PVC grid pattern gives a strong contemporary look. And, the 5-year warranty provides additional peace of mind for this high-traffic retail environment.
