This battery operated unit offers a high visual deterrence to misuse of touch bars and is simple to install on all types of door. The device is either screwed or glued, using special adhesive strips, onto the door leaf.
This battery operated unit offers a high visual deterrence to misuse of touch bars and is simple to install on all types of door. The device is either screwed or glued, using special adhesive strips, onto the door leaf.
The device is mounted above the touch bar with the trigger angle set over the bar. A self adhesive magnet is mounted on the touch bar which lines up with the reed switch inside the trigger angle.
When the panic bar is pushed the contact breaks and an 85dB/1m acoustic alarm is activated. Only authorised personnel can reset the unit using a key.
