Loading houses are placed in front of the building. This means that the entire building space can be used, right up to the exterior Walls. Hörmann loading houses are always a good choice if buildings do not allow for the installation of interior ramps or if tailboard slots on the ramps are not possible.A complete loading house consists of a pedestal with dock leveller, wall and ceiling cladding and a loading opening with dock shelter. In conjunction with insulated Hörmann industrial doors, loading houses are particularly recommended for loading temperature-sensitive goods.Lorries can then dock at a 90° angle or offset to the side at a tight angle. Loading houses are available as individual units or arranged as a series.Loading bays sometimes take up a large portion of Commercial Buildings. They thus offer substantial energy savings potential – for more information about the amortisation and retrofitting see the Hörmann energy savings compass.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Hormann UK is consulted before specifying.
