Fred Scott (1942-2001) was one of Britain s most renowned furniture designers of his period. As a tribute to Scott, and expanding on the success of his hm25 seating, Hitch Mylius has developed hm26, a family of generously proportioned sofas providing a more relaxed and informal version of Scott s classic.
Armchair and sofas are available in a wide variety of fabrics and leathers. Internal frames are of FSC-accredited solid beech and panel construction with elastic webbed seats upholstered in graded cmhr foams; seat and back cushions are polyester-wrapped cmhr foam. Under frames are fine-brushed Stainless Steel; polished chrome, polished brass and bronze options are among the plated options available to order. They can also be powder coated in any RAL or BS colour. A low table complements the seating - standard table tops are toughened acid-etched Glass, oak or walnut veneer, or white laminate; other veneers and laminate colours, Marble, quartz or Granite are available to order.
