ClimaGuard Dry is used as the outer pane of a highly insulated double or triple glazed unit. Exceptionally insulated glazing, can at certain times of the year, be effected by condensation build up on the external Glass surface, this is greatly attributed to the exceptional thermal performance of glazing which is so efficient at retaining heat, it prevents internal heat from reaching the external pane allowing condensation to build up on the outer pane in a similar way that it does on your car windows at certain times of the year. ClimaGuard Dry greatly reduces this condensation as the glass coating not only insulates the outer pane but also works to reduce the condensation formation on the glass surface.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Guardian Glass is consulted before specifying.
