With GraceÕs Advanced Bond Technologyª, Florprufe¨ is the industryÕs first integrally bonded vapour barrier. Florprufe forms a unique seal to the underside of concrete slabs-on-grade, creating a permanent barrier that minimises the risk of water vapour from the ground reaching moisture-sensitive floor finishes. Florprufe¨ stops excess water vapour that can result in warping, loss of adhesion, staining, mold and other major defects that require costly repairs or replacement. It complies with the latest American Concrete Institute (ACI) recommendations that slabs with vapour-sensitive coverings should always have the vapour barrier in direct contact with the slab. Comprising a highly durable polyolefin sheet and a specially developed non-tacky adhesive coating, Florprufe¨ is laid onto prepared slabs-on-grade.
