Timber tilt and turn windows are typically more expensive than standard window styles due to their functionality, and quality materials. These windows allow you to tilt inward for ventilation and turn fully open for easier cleaning or emergency escape, making them highly versatile. The craftsmanship in producing durable timber frames and the advanced hardware required for the tilt-and-turn mechanism add to the overall cost.
Cleaning tilt and turn windows is simple due to their inward opening function, allowing easy access to both sides of the glass. Regular cleaning of the frames and glass and periodic checks on the hardware will ensure your timber tilt and turn windows remain spotless.
