The MicrAlert detection system can be fitted to a variety of fence constructions over a maximum protected zone length of 250 meters.
Four independent zones are available for microphonic cable detection, each with a configurable range of outputs for alarm, tamper, pre-alarm and faults. In addition, three independent signal processing channels per zone can detect activities such as cut, climb and hacksaw. Four extra dry-contact monitoring inputs can be used for alternative detection system connections. System status is signaled by dry relay contact outputs.
Alarms are verified by an audio output automatically activated when a sensor zone is triggered. Alternatively, you can manually select the audio output from any of the sensor zones. All audio outputs are in superb quality audio clarity.

Use the on-board RS232 serial data link to operate the MicrAlert remotely for monitoring system status and adjust system settings such as sensitivity, event counts and time window. Alternatively, operate the system locally using the on-board operator display and push button controls, or with the optional plug-in hand-held controller. The operator display and handheld controller are both password protected to prevent unauthorised use.
