Geocel Auto Silicone Rubber Gasket

Geocel Auto Silicone Rubber Gasket is a one part silicone rubber sealant that is ideal for a wide variety of applications. It cures to form a tough, waterproof and flexible rubber compound, which will not shrink, crack or discolour.; Tooling of the sealant should be carried out within five minutes of application to ensure optimum contact has been made between the sealant and the substrate, leaving a smooth and professional finish. When using as an instant gasket, ensure all surfaces are clean. To enable components to be dismantled at a later date, apply a light coating of oil or grease to one or both surfaces. Apply Geocel Auto Silicone to one surface only in a bead 1mm to 3mm thick. Ensure the bead is evenly spread, filling voids and irregularities between the two surfaces. Close and clamp assembly immediately. When the sealant has cured sufficiently (approx 12 hours) but before full cure, excess may be trimmed away with a sharp blade.
