Burglar Alarms

At GBSG we design, install and maintain both audible only and monitored burglar alarm systems to the NSI NACOSS Gold Standard. We cater for both homes and commercial business premises and the type of burglar alarm system we recommend will depend upon the security need.

Audible only burglar alarm systems are effective in situations when you can guarantee that people will act upon alarm activation. For example, you might have very dependable neighbours who will be around at times when you are out of the house, such as during working hours. Alternatively you might live on your business premises, such as a public house.

In contrast, monitored burglar alarm systems do not rely on physical presence as they are connected to an alarm receiving centre. In the event of an alarm activation, a signal is transmitted to the alarm receiving centre who will contact your nominated keyholders and/or the police. This can provide you with peace of mind as you can be confident that someone will respond to an alarm no matter what time of the day.
