W2-SVP-630 - Wi-Safe 2 Combined Strobe And Vibrating Pad

The combined strobe and vibrating pad is part of the new Wi-Safe 2 range of products. To be used in conjunction with the WST-630 Wireless Thermoptek smoke alarm. Can also interlink with the Wi-Safe 2 low frequency sounder (W2-LFS-630).

In addition to the audible sound from the smoke (or CO) alarm, the flashing Strobe and Vibrating Pad will be triggered to alert someone who may not be able to hear the audible alarm. The flashing strobe provides a visual warning for waking hours, while the vibrating pad is designed to be placed under a pillow or a mattress and is suitable for waking an individual to alert them when a smoke alarm sounds. If placed under a mattress, ensure the thickness of the mattress does not cushion the pad to the extent it cannot be felt adequately.

Uses Wi-Safe 2 technology to provide warning of fire or carbon monoxide (CO). Wi-Safe 2 products can be interlinked to create a network, meaning if smoke or CO triggers any alarm in the network, all other networked alarms and ancillary devices activate.

Mains powered with a rechargeable battery backup.

The strobe is suitable for wall mounting or freestanding offering greater flexibility in positioning.

Pressing the test button on the strobe will test Smoke Alarms in the network which is ideal for people with limited physical ability.
