The Art Deco Commission, as featured on television s Grand Designs

by Edwin Loxley

The beauty of Loxley s totally bespoke service means that any period and style of furniture can be created without the restrictions associated with ordinary, mass produced brands. No better example demonstrates this than the Art Deco commission featured on TV s Grand Designs.

This open, social, entertaining kitchen was created using maple and burr poplar in a high Gloss finish. Note the period, veneered cooker canopy with inlaid walnut clock. Equally impressive is the breakfast bar with its walnut edge profile swooping down and following through the maple Cabinets side, frame and door a visually pleasing demonstration of Loxley s engineering skills.
