Micropoint 2 Surface is a high specification LED emergency downlight that can be used for both escape route and open area anti-panic lighting. The latest LED and optic technology are combined to provide high performance emergency lighting in Commercial Buildings where aesthetics are of prime importance, such as offices, retail or hospitality and leisure facilities. In addition, ease of installation, reduced energy consumption and minimal maintenance reduce the total cost of ownership without compromising on performance. The innovative optic design has been developed and produced by Eaton to use light from the LED source as efficiently as possible to provide a virtually razor-straight rectangle or square of light that can be perfectly aligned for uniform distribution,prividing unrivalled spacing performance. Whereas typical escape route emergency luminaires need to be spaced at every 3 to 7 metres to achieve the required illumination level, Micropoint 2's optimised optics can provide more than 19-metre spacing, depending on ceiling height. Preset light levels can be adjusted in maintained mode to operate as a security light, adjustable using a touch sensitive button on the luminaire fascia.
